PE lesson at Kabumbi

​​Kabumbi Community Junior School is a locally-led primary school providing education to children aged 3-15 years from the surrounding community and raises and educates over 80 destitute and orphan children. However, they are running out of food, medicine and other essentials.

 

Many of the children at this amazing school have no family or home. The teachers work tirelessly, sometimes without pay, and sometimes the children go hungry when the money runs out for regular meals. But despite all these challenges, the level of aspiration and motivation at Kabumbi School is outstanding.

Our UK charity works in partnership with the school, raising money to help the staff provide evening and weekend meals for the orphaned children, keeping them healthy, settled and able to learn.

We are ideally looking to build a team of people making regular monthly donations. Even a little money donated will go a long way in Uganda, and anything you can do to help will be so very appreciated.

The Kabumbi area is near Nansana Town and Wakiso District, close to Kampala, Uganda.
